Season 2

House MD’s second season was premiered on 9-13-2005 and the opening episode was ‘Acceptance’. Season 2 starts with Dr, House Gregory trying to save the life of a serious patient completely over the objections of his colleagues. House doesn’t like to work in close quarters with his ex girl friend and he may be more contrary than usual. House’s colleague Dr. Allison Cameron is HIV positive and is facing life-death crisis. Dr. Lisa Cuddy clashes with House over the treatment of a patient who has got an injury while working on Cuddy’s roof. Neurologist Eric Foreman becomes House’s boss and oncologist James Wilson after separating from his wife move sin with House. In some other episode of the second season, House races against time to determine the illness that is causing a wounded policeman to literally laugh himself to death–things getting uncomfortably personal when Foreman begins showing the same symptoms. At the end of the second season, House is shot by the husband of his former patient. The season received the prestigious Peabody Award for “Best of Electronic Media.” Season finale ‘No Reason’ was aired on 5-23-2006.
