It was 2007 and Olivia Wilde had just been cast as a bisexual doc on “House,” a juicy role on a hit show following a run on the short-lived NBC series “The Black Donnellys” and another bisexual turn on “The O.C.” The job was a huge break for the actress — it would lead to a vastly raised public profile and the top spot in the Maxim Hot 100 — but the new work also came at a tricky time: She was about to start filming “Fix,” a movie she couldn’t exactly bail on considering her husband, Tao Ruspoli, was the director.
“I would do ‘House’ five days a week and we would do ‘Fix’ on the weekend and any random day off I might get,” Wilde told MTV News. “It was a true labor of love, guerilla effort because we had to go shoot ‘Fix’ whenever we could, which meant that I was exhausted most of the time. It was an amazing, herculean effort, but we pulled it off.”
In theaters on Friday (November 20), “Fix” is shot as a faux-documentary in which Bella (Wilde) and Milo (Ruspoli) trek across Los Angeles in a treacherous effort to get Milo’s heroin-addicted brother (Shawn Andrews, Pickford of “Dazed and Confused” fame) into rehab before he misses a court-ordered deadline and ends up in the slammer. The idea was based on Wilde’s suggestion that they create a film around Ruspoli’s charismatic real-life brother.
“I said, ‘Is there one day in his life that you can remember that might make a great movie?’ ” Wilde explained. “And [Tao] said, ‘Yeah, there’s one day.’ And it was this day that really happened.”
Despite the tight filming schedule, Wilde refused to give up the opportunity to work with her husband. “What makes a great relationship is when you really admire and respect the other person and when you can be inspired by them, and if you create something together, those are some of the most magical times in a relationship,” she said. “If you can work on anything together, you can really appreciate the gifts the person has to offer.”

House is finally introducing us to the missing branch in Foreman’s family tree.
Sources confirm to me exclusively that Orlando Jones has been cast as Foreman’s estranged brother, Marcus.
Although we have previously met Foreman’s father and mother (played by Charles S. Dutton and Beverly Todd, respectively), his brother has only been mentioned in passing. Little is know about Marcus except that he, like Foreman, had a troubled childhood and is currently serving a jail sentence for drugs.
Jones’ episode, which has already been shot and is scheduled to air in February, finds the siblings reconnecting on the eve of Marcus’ parole hearing. Not surprisingly, House sticks his nose where it doesn’t belong, but the less I say about that piece of the story the better (my annual invite to David Shore and Katie Jacobs’ New Year’s Eve slumber party is already in danger of getting lost in the mail). Just trust me when I say his meddling leads to a pretty big development.
Great casting, don’t cha think?

Burnt with the intention to break Cuddy and Lucas, House gets the statement from Cuddy that there could be nothing between her and House. Next week on “House M.D.“, House is not only punched at heart but literally on his face, courtesy of Chase.

Meanwhile on the medical side, House and the team take on the case of James Sidas, an exceptionally brilliant physicist and author who traded his successful career for a job as a courier. For the ailing patient, intelligence is a miserable burden that has prompted depression and addiction, and this, coupled with his myriad unusual symptoms, nearly stumps the team.
“Ignorance is Bliss” airs Monday, November 23.
On another news, story is developing on Cameron being written off the show. Jennifer Morrison just told EW that she finds “the entire situation sort of confusing”. However, Cameron has not been officially extracted from the show, and that Morrison said she has been paid for the remainder of the season.

In “The Bonnie Hunt Show” interview scheduled to be aired on Wednesday, November 11, Jennifer Morrison sets straight the confusion whether her character will be yanked out of “House M.D.“. Morrison gives a nod when Bonnie Hunt throws the question “You’re done with House?”, saying further “I am as far as I know, yes.”

Back in August, there was a rumor that Cameron, the character played by Morrison, will be written off the story after she is having troubles with her husband Chase. It stems from the fourth episode of this season when an ailing ruthless dictator forces the team to split their moral obligation and logic. Chase did not tell his wife that he had forged the patient’s test results, causing the dictator to lose his life.
Last month Executive Producer David Shore spilled that Morrison’s departure will not be permanent. “Dr Chase is going to face a consequence from his actions, and Jennifer will be leaving for a while as a result. I don’t want to deny or diminish that, but I also don’t want to act like this is the end,” he said, adding “Having said that, I really don’t know. We are mapping out our stories as we go along. We certainly don’t know what the end of the season is. We are figuring it out.”
Morrison’s co-star Olivia Wilde chimed in that Morrison will not be in several episodes but would come back later.

The good news for fans of Chase (Jesse Spencer) and Cameron (Jennifer Morrison) is, Cameron doesn’t die or anything of the sort, thus making a return in the future totally plausible. The bad news is, we can’t really say when or even give House
fans a definite yes as to whether or not she will return in the first place.
Spencer tells TV Guide that, essentially, we don’t know anything at this point, except that she will really leave (categorically) House.
“It is open for her to come back at some point,” he says. “But we don’t know in what fashion that will be. That’s what makes it exciting. The story line has been set up and right now it’s just brewing there, but I don’t know how it’s going to end.”
Yet House fans seem to ask why she has to take the bullet when it’s obvious that it’s Chase who’s being consumed by guilt over the decision of sort of killing someone to hopefully save the lives of many others.
Spencer explains that Chase’s weirdness will prompt Cameron into thinking that something is “obviously” wrong.
“She offers for her and Chase to leave and go somewhere. He accepts it [at first] and then realizes that he really can’t go anywhere because it’s just going to follow him everywhere he goes. That leads them to go their separate ways.”
Will Chase ever be able to put some semblance of closure into the whole incident? No, in a nutshell, says Spencer, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. He adds that a trial for medical practice might even been necessary, just to help him get past this demon (and that’s not just about the dictator, but the overall guilt that has consumed him).

All new on “House M.D.“, House angles to form a dream team after his medical license is reinstated and he reclaims his role as Head of Diagnostic. Said as the biggest case faced by House yet, the mission is made difficult with Cameron and Chase’s marriage being on the rock.

Meanwhile, Cuddy is reminded that the hospital is not conducive to healthy personal relationships. As for the medical case, House is back in time to treat Hank Hardwick (guest star Troy Garity), an adult film star admitted to Princeton Plainsboro for pulsating eye pain. “Teamwork” airs on Monday, November 16.
There would be two more episodes of “House” left in this year before it continues the second half in January 2010. It was reported back in September that Jennifer Morrison aka Cameron will bow out from the show after the November sweeps end.

As House fans know by now, the countdown to Jennifer Morrison’s exit from the series is on.
The actress will make her final appearance as Cameron on November 16.
A week later, according to a House source that spoke to Michael Ausiello, Chase reacts to the departure of his wife… by punching out House!

“Chase is very clearly off his game and struggling with the loss of Cameron,” the insider said.
What prompts the throwdown? House unfavorably compares Chase to his wife, causing the accented doctor to blow his top and deck the boss.
Hey, it could be worse for House: Chase could give him the wrong medicine and kill him. Viewers know much he enjoys doing that!
